Like all good ideas, the concept for MyTrader was started in a pub discussion! One of our founding directors was unhappy with the existing complicated, expensive, and corporate-backed marketplace websites and asked why we can’t go back to a simple and straightforward way to buy and sell goods… so we have!
People used to talk to each other directly, ask questions and do deals in a simple, low-cost process. With rising costs and inflation looming, we explored ideas of how to help people sell items to make money and engage with businesses to open up new markets and opportunities for Kiwis. We have created a unique market website for the New Zealand market that is back to basics and allows Kiwis to do it their way on MyTrader.
It’s simple – we introduce buyers & sellers to each other, and the rest is up to you!
